About the Rally

A friendly competition for great causes. We aren’t going to give it all away , but first we are going to have a judging , Bastrop style.

You don't have to drive a fancy car to win this car judging.  You can win for having the Most Fun Vehicle, the Best Dressed Team, Most Unique Vehicle, Best Paint Job, Best Wheels, Best Classic Car, or Best Overall Rally Set of Wheels.  See the Party and Prizes  page for more details .

The event begins at the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History located on FM-304, sixteen (16) miles south of Highway-71, Bastrop, TX. Follow Highway-71 towards Bastrop, take the exit signs to FM-304. From Hwy-71 there is only one option, south, on FM-304. The museum is on the west side of the highway and is clearly marked.

Now you are given a set of directions that will take you on a driving quest through Bastrop and perhaps surrounding counties . You will spend a couple of hours answering questions. How many flamingos were in that yard ? Some that may require you to hunt up the answer. I have to do what ??? or , Simply strike a pose ..

You will arrive at pit stops along the way and have the opportunity to score additional points .

This is not a timed event , though if you do not show up for the party afterwards we may come looking for you .

While the rally Teams await the scoring there will be :

• Food Provided by several lacal Restaurants
• A cash bar for beer and sodas
• Music by the Still Rockin and Thumbs Up bands

While the Rally Teams await the scoring, there will be::

• Music by Curbside with Terry Lynn Moore
  
• Food provided by local restaurants and the Rotary Club
  
• A cash bar for beer, soda, and water
  
• Chances to win the 2011 Dodge Ram truck, and the Luxury Caribbean Cruise for Two
  
• A silent auction and raffle with prizes donated by local Bastrop businesses.

Registration Fees

$70 for driver and navigator. $30 for each additional passenger.
